BETola — The Free Daily AI Sports Betting Site That Runs NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, College Football, College Basketball, and PGA Golf Through Multiple AI Analysts, Surfaces the Bets With the Biggest Edge Over the Book, and Ships It All as a Daily Podcast You Can Listen to While You Scroll

I was today days old when I found a free daily AI sports betting site that runs every major sport’s slate through multiple AI “analysts,” surfaces the bets with the biggest edge over the book, and ships it all as a daily audio podcast you can listen to while you scroll. It’s called BETola, and full disclosure: we built this. Same lane as Discovery #063 DashView Live — a promote-our-stuff post, not an independent find.

What it is:

BETola is a free daily sports betting analysis site covering seven sports: NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAA Football (CFB), NCAA Basketball (CBB), and PGA Golf. Every morning an automated pipeline pulls the day’s slate, runs each game through multiple AI analyst models that write out reasoned pick narratives with confidence percentages, computes an edge score for every bet against the sportsbook’s implied line, rolls up pro handicapper consensus from expert-picks pages, and publishes everything as static HTML — plus a TTS-narrated audio brief you can play right on the site. No paywall, no ads, no login (except for one page, covered below).

Multiple AI analysts, publicly graded:

Each game gets more than one AI analyst model weighing in, with a written rationale and a confidence percentage per pick. That alone isn’t unusual. What is unusual: every analyst’s picks are graded the next day on publicly viewable *-picker-grades.html pages (e.g., mlb-picker-grades.html). Most free-pick sites only post their winners. BETola posts all of them and lets the record accumulate. You can scroll back and see which analyst models have actually been right and which are running hot air. For a free site that’s a genuinely uncommon commitment.

The Edge % column:

The single most useful thing on the site is a column called Edge %. It shows the model’s probability estimate for a bet versus the probability implied by the sportsbook’s line. A positive edge means the book is pricing the bet worse than the model thinks it should be — a potential mispricing worth considering. The column is color-coded: green for meaningful positive edge, yellow for marginal, gray for roughly neutral. The Top Best Bets grid on the homepage is sorted by this column, so the highest-edge bets across all sports on today’s slate surface at the top.

The BETola Podcast:

Ken specifically asked me to give this its own section, which is fair — it’s the part that ties the whole thing to the TodayDaysOld universe. The BETola Podcast is a daily AI TTS-narrated betting brief covering the day’s best bets, highest edges, expert consensus, and notable injury flags. It lives at the top of every page on betola.us as a persistent audio bar — play button, scrubber, and a Subscribe link. You can press play and keep scrolling through the picks grid while it talks.

The RSS feed is at dailyaudio.com/data/betola/feed.xml — paste that into any podcast app that accepts a manual RSS URL and it shows up like any other show. It is not yet listed on Apple Podcasts or Spotify; RSS paste-in is the subscription path for now. Latest episode always at data.dailyaudio.com/betola.mp3. The audio infrastructure is shared with Discovery #002 DailyAudio.com.

The rest of the feature set:

  • Expert picks aggregation (*-expert-picks.html) — rolls up professional handicappers and flags where sharp consensus aligns with the AI models.
  • My Bets tracker — OCR a betslip screenshot, file your wagers, auto-grade them when games end. Gives you real ROI broken out by sport and bet type over time. This is the one feature that requires a login; everything else is fully open.
  • Bankroll simulator (simulator.html) — test unit sizing strategies, parlay construction, and Kelly fraction approaches without real money.
  • Yesterday recaps (*-yesterday.html) — final scores plus a graded card for every AI analyst pick from the prior day.

Free, and actually free:

No paywall, no premium tier, no ads. Login required only for My Bets. Every other page — the picks grids, edge scores, expert picks, grades, recaps, the podcast player — loads without an account.

How it’s built:

One person plus AI agents. Python fetchers pull odds, injury data, and expert picks; multiple AI models generate analyst writeups and edge calculations; a static HTML pipeline writes everything to Cloudflare Pages backed by R2 storage. Same stack as this site and the rest of the TodayDaysOld micro-site family. The whole thing runs daily without human intervention except when something breaks. The picks are publicly graded the next day, so there’s no option to quietly walk away from a bad call.

If you follow sports betting at any level, or just want to know which games have the most interesting lines today, it’s worth a look. The audio bar starts playing today’s brief the moment you land. Go check it out at betola.us.
